In 1989, API produced API 650 Annex G: “Structurally-Supported Aluminum Dome Roofs.” Aluminium dome roof tanks (ADRTs), also know as geodesic roof systems are the preferred cover solution for most storage applications today and are superior to other cover designs due to: reduced evaporation losses, low cost maintenance, emissions reduction, in-service installation possibility.

Most tanks we construct are carbon steel. We also build tanks using alternative materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, nine percent nickel or specialty steels to meet specific customer requirements.
